Massachusetts Police Get Black Uniforms to Instill Sense of ‘Fear’
Sgt. John Delaney told a city council hearing Wednesday that the stark uniforms send a message to criminals that officers are serious about making arrests. Delaney said a sense of “fear” has been missing for the past few years.
How fitting is it that song has a beautiful line in it that goes…”I wear it for the prisoner who has long paid for his crime, But is there because he’s a victim of the times.”
